  11. Several of us at our location have attempted to make the local
  12. loopback work without any luck so far.
  13.  
  14. First, the startnet script does not mount TCP:
  15. Second, when we mount it by hand, things that need lo0 then say its
  16. connection refused.

  18. I'm under the impression that unless we get TCP: successfully mounted
  19. during the startup, nothing in the way of a local loopback can be
  20. made to work.  Is this correct?, and if so, how the heck do I get any
  21. step by step from startnet to be logged for troubleshooting.  I'm
  22. using dialup1.06, so all I see is the dialup window, and the AmiCTP
  23. logging window which does not show any local actions other than
  24. ppp0's on/offline status.
